Magnum Trifle


Ingredients
  • Cake 1 pound
  • Fruit cocktail 1 tin
  • Fruit syrup 3-4 tbsp
  • Strawberry jelly cubes as required
  • Banana jelly cubes as required
  • Vanilla custard powder 2 tbsp
  • Milk ½ liter
  • Sugar 2-3 tbsp
  • Cream 1 cup
  • Magnum as required
Method
  • Slice the pound cake and layer in a bowl. Moisten with fruit syrup, add the fruit cocktail on top, put both the jellies cubed, fruit and the vanilla custard, let chill and then add the cream on top, smoothen and let chill again, decorate with fruit and jelly cut in shapes and cream rosettes.
