Foot Long Sandwiches
Ingredients
- Bread loaf 1
- Mayonnaise 4 tbsp
- Ketchup 2 tbsp
- Mustard paste 2 tbsp
- Pickled gherkins, sliced as required
- Chicken breast fillets 3
- Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Lemon (juice) 1
- Black pepper, crushed 1 tsp
- Cheese slices to taste
- Salad leaves as required
- Tomato, sliced as required
Method
- Marinate chicken breast fillets with crushed red chilies, salt, pepper, lemon juice and let stand for a few hours in fridge. Heat oil, add chicken and cook till done. Drain excess sauce. Slit the soft long bread and apply mayo, mustard and ketchup and the lettuce, top with chicken breast, cheese slices and tomatoes and gherkins and top with the other slice of the bread. Serve immediately.
