Imli ki Chutney


Ingredients
  • Tamarind 250gm
  • Jaggery 250gm
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Dry ginger powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Sugar 2-3 tbsp
Method
  • Soak tamarind in 4-5 cups of water and squeeze out all the pulp. Put in a clean pan with the jaggery, red chili powder, ground dry ginger, cumin powder, salt and sugar and let cook till thick. Strain through a sieve and bottle when cool.
