Imli ki Chutney
Ingredients
- Tamarind 250gm
- Jaggery 250gm
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Dry ginger powder 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Sugar 2-3 tbsp
Method
- Soak tamarind in 4-5 cups of water and squeeze out all the pulp. Put in a clean pan with the jaggery, red chili powder, ground dry ginger, cumin powder, salt and sugar and let cook till thick. Strain through a sieve and bottle when cool.
