Dry Arvi
Ingredients:
- Colocassia (arvi) 500 grams
- Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
- Green chillies 2
- Oil 4 tbsp
- Carom seeds 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder 2 tsp
- Red chilli powder 1 tsp
- Dry mango powder 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Lemon 1
Method:
- Wash and boil arbi. Peel and press between palms. Heat oil, add carom seeds, chopped green chillies and the pressed arbi. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, dry mango powder and mix well. Reduce heat, cover and cook for five minutes. Add salt, juice of lemon and mix. Add chopped coriander leaves. Remove from heat and keep it covered for a while before serving.
