Breakfast Casserole


Ingredients:
  • Mutton mince ½ kg
  • Butter 2 tsp
  • Chopped green onions 2
  • Mushrooms (sliced) 1 cup
  • Eggs (beaten) 6
  • Cottage cheese 1 cup
  • Cheese (shredded) 11 ounces
  • Chopped green chillies 3-4
  • Flour 2/3 cup
  • Baking powder 3/4 tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Butter (melted) 3 tbsp
  • Butter (melted) 1-3/4 tsp
Method:
  • Cook mutton mince until evenly brown. Drain, and set aside. Melt butter in pan, and cook and stir the green onions and mushrooms until tender.In a bowl, mix the eggs, cottage cheese, cheese, and chillies. Stir in the mince, green onions, and mushrooms.In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Blend in the melted butter. Stir the flour mixture into the egg mixture. Pour into the greased baking dish. Bake 40 to 50 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly brown. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
