Chocolate Chip Cookies


Ingredients:
  • Butter ½ cup
  • Caster sugar ¼ cup
  • Egg 1
  • Packed brown sugar ¾ cups
  • Salt a pinch
  • Baking powder ½ tsp
  • Baking soda ½ tsp
  • Chocolate chips 1 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 tbsp
  • Flour 1-¼ cups
Method:
  • Method Beat butter, add brown sugar and caster sugar add the egg, mix well. Add vanilla essence, salt, flour, baking powder and baking soda sieved together. Fold in the chocolate chips. Combine well. Chill dough for a while. Scoop out in uniform sizes and place on a baking sheet a few inches apart so that they have space to spread whilst baking. Bake at 180 degrees C for 9-11 minutes or till brown on sides and soft in the middle. Let cool on wire rack and then store in an airtight jar.
