Chocolate Halwa
 

Ingredients :
  • 250gm khoya
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 cup dessicated coconut
  • ¾ cups sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp elaichi powder
  • ½ cup almonds, blanched and sliced
Method :
  • Mix khoya, milk, sugar and cocoa in a pan and cook till mixture starts to thicken and leaves the sides. This will take about 30 minutes. Remove from fire and add in the coconut and elaichi powder. Pour in a greased plate or tin. Top with sliced almonds and press in. Let set in fridge. Cut in squares or diamonds and serve chilled.
