Chocolate Truffle Cake


Ingredients for Base
  • Chocolate biscuit crumbs 2 cup
  • Butter, melted ½ cup
Ingredients for Filling
  • Chocolate chopped 11 oz
  • Cream 600 ml
  • Milk 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • White chocolate to decorate
Method
  • Mix the biscuit crumbs with melted butter and let set in a pie plate or tin. Freeze. For filling melt the chopped chocolate in a bowl set on a pan of simmering and not boiling water. Cool the chocolate. Beat cream with milk and vanilla essence. Mix in some chocolate and then slowly all the chocolate in the cream. Pour chocolate cream over the base and freeze. Before serving, pipe white chocolate and decorate and serve in slices.
