Zeera Rice


Ingredients:
  • Rice 2 cups
  • Cumin seeds 2 tsp
  • Butter or ghee 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice to taste
Method:
  • Heat butter or ghee. Add the cumin seeds and fry for 2 minutes till the seeds splutter. Add the rice, lemon juice, water, and salt. Boil. Then reduce heat and cook covered for 15 minutes or till all water evaporates and the rice is done.
