Cheesecake


Ingredients For the Base:
  • Biscuits crumb 1 packet
  • Butter ½ cup
For the Filling:
  • Cream cheese 2 cups
  • Caster sugar 2 tbsp
  • Cream 2 cups
  • Vanilla essence ½ tsp
  • Gelatin 1 tbsp
  • Milk ¼ cup
  • Chocolate chips ½ cup
Method:
  • Melt butter, mix in with the biscuit crumbs. Press in the base of a 9” springform tin and freeze till set. Meanwhile make the filling. Put gelatin in milk in a pan and let get foamy. Heat very gently. Do not boil. Set aside. Beat cream cheese and add in the caster sugar gradually, fold in cream and add the essence, cooled gelatin, and milk mixture. Pour over base, level out, sprinkle the chocolate chips and freeze. Remove from freezer after a few hours and keep in refrigerator. Slice and serve.
