Paneer in Tomato Sauce
Ingredients:
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Star anise 1
- Ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Capsicum, diced 1
- Tomato puree 1-1/2 cups
- Cubed paneer 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Sugar 1-2 tsp
- Garam masala powder 1 tsp
- Milk 1/4 cup
- Chopped green chillies 2
- Chopped coriander leaves to garnish
- In a pan add oil, cumin seeds, star anise, ginger-garlic paste. Add the diced capsicum. Sauté for 1 minute. Add tomato puree. Add salt, chopped green chillies, garam masala powder, and sugar. Cook till it leaves oil on the sides. Add milk. Mix well. Add the paneer cubes. Let it cook for 2 minutes on low flame. Do not overcook. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
