Shikanjabeen
Ingredients:
- Grated ginger 2-inch piece
- Chopped mint leaves a bunch
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Cumin or chat powder (optional) a pinch
- Soda 1 bottle
- Lemon juice of 2 lemons
- Sugar 2 tbsp
- Grind together the grated ginger, mint leaves, cumin powder, lemon juice and sugar. Grind till the sugar dissolves. Strain and add this mixture to a jug. Add salt. After straining, top with soda and ice. Serve chilled.
