Shikanjabeen


Ingredients:
  • Grated ginger 2-inch piece
  • Chopped mint leaves a bunch
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin or chat powder (optional) a pinch
  • Soda 1 bottle
  • Lemon juice of 2 lemons
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
Method:
  • Grind together the grated ginger, mint leaves, cumin powder, lemon juice and sugar. Grind till the sugar dissolves. Strain and add this mixture to a jug. Add salt. After straining, top with soda and ice. Serve chilled.
