Apple Crumble


Ingredients To make crumble:
  • Flour 1 cup
  • Brown sugar ½ cup
  • Butter (cubed) 100 gm
  • Butter for greasing
For Filling:
  • Apples (peeled, cored, and cubed) 4 medium
  • Brown sugar 50 gm
  • Flour 1 tbsp
  • Cinnamon powder a pinch
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Method:
  • Preheat oven for half an hour at 350 F or 180 C. Mix flour with sugar. Add butter and mix till it resembles breadcrumbs. Grease an ovenproof dish with butter and place the apples in a layer. Sprinkle sugar, flour, and cinnamon on apples. Cover the apples with crumble topping and bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve with custard or ice cream.
