Dark n White Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients For Dark Chocolate Mousse:
- Dark chocolate (chopped) 130 gm
- Cream 1 tbsp
- Egg yolk 1
- Egg whites 4
- Cream of tartar 1/8 tsp
- Sugar 1 tbsp
- Cream 125 ml
- White chocolate (chopped) 130 gm
- Cream 1 tbsp
- Egg yolk 1
- Egg whites 4
- Cream of tartar 1/8 tsp
- Sugar 1 tablespoons
- Cream 125 ml
- Chocolate shavings to garnish
- To make the dark chocolate mousse, melt dark chocolate. Add cream, and egg yolk; mix until well combined. Remove from heat. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until mixture becomes foamy. Slowly add sugar. Beat until medium peaks. Fold in melted chocolate. Beat cream until soft peaks form. Fold into chocolate-egg white mixture. Set aside. To make the white chocolate mousse, melt white chocolate. Add cream, and egg yolk; mix until well combined. Remove from heat. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until mixture becomes foamy. Slowly add sugar. Beat until medium peaks. Fold in melted chocolate. Beat cream until soft peaks form. Fold into chocolate-egg white mixture. Set aside. Prepare individual serving glasses. Alternately pour dark chocolate and white chocolate mixtures into the glasses to create different layers. Chill in the refrigerator for 3 hours or overnight. Garnish with chocolate shavings.
