Heaven in a Glass
Ingredients
- Dark cooking chocolate 200 gm
- Cream 200 gm
- Milk ¼ cup
- Mixed fruit cocktail 1 cup
- Nuts (chopped & roasted) ½ cup
- Cornflakes roasted 2 tbsp
- Icing sugar 2 tbsp
- Gelatin 1 tsp
- Chocolate spread 2 tbsp
- Chocolate sauce as required
- Apricots jam 1 tbsp
- Chocolate grated 1 tbsp
Method
- Melt the chocolate and milk together and stir until smooth. Cool the sauce. Then melt the gelatin with 1 tsp water and cool. Add to the cream mixed with icing sugar. Slowly add the chocolate mix. In a tall glass, coat the sides with chocolate sauce. Then pour 1/2 of chocolate mix and chill in fridge until set. Then add the chopped fruits keeping a few pieces aside. Add some chocolate spread, nuts and cornflakes. Make a second layer of chocolate mix. Then repeat with fruits and nuts. Melt the jam and pour over the top. Decorate with grated chocolate and chill until set. Serve cold.
