Ravo


Ingredients:
  • Semolina 4 large tbsp
  • Sugar 4 large tbsp
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Milk 16 oz
  • Cardamom powder ¼ tsp
  • Pinch of nutmeg powder
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Blanched and fried almonds a handful
  • Fried raisins a few
Method:
  • Melt butter add in semolina and sauté till light golden and an aroma of the semolina comes. Add sugar and stir till it dissolves. Add in the milk. Continue stirring. Add in the cardamom powder, pinch of nutmeg and the essence. Stir till thick and serve hot with blanched and fried almonds and fried raisins.
