Hot and Tangy Prawn Curry


Ingredients:
  • Fresh prawns 1 kg
  • Dry fish as required
  • Tamarind pulp to taste
  • Tomato paste 3 – 4 tomatoes
  • Ginger 1 tbsp
  • Garlic 4 tbsp
  • Red chili paste made of 15 – 20 chilies
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder to taste
  • Oil as required
Directions:
  • In a pan, fry the dry fish till it changes color. Then add chopped prawns, ginger paste, garlic paste, chili paste and cook for a few minutes. Afterwards, add tomato paste and chili powder and let it simmer for a little while. Once the tomato paste is cooked, add tamarind paste and let it simmer in a cover pot for 5-7 minutes. Garnish the curry with coriander leaves and serve with white rice.
