Hot and Tangy Prawn Curry
Ingredients:
- Fresh prawns 1 kg
- Dry fish as required
- Tamarind pulp to taste
- Tomato paste 3 – 4 tomatoes
- Ginger 1 tbsp
- Garlic 4 tbsp
- Red chili paste made of 15 – 20 chilies
- Salt to taste
- Red chili powder to taste
- Oil as required
Directions:
- In a pan, fry the dry fish till it changes color. Then add chopped prawns, ginger paste, garlic paste, chili paste and cook for a few minutes. Afterwards, add tomato paste and chili powder and let it simmer for a little while. Once the tomato paste is cooked, add tamarind paste and let it simmer in a cover pot for 5-7 minutes. Garnish the curry with coriander leaves and serve with white rice.
