Beetroot Hummus


Ingredients:
  • Chickpeas (boiled and cooled) 2 cups
  • Beetroot (boiled, peeled and cubed) 1
  • Garlic (crushed) 3 cloves
  • Tahini paste 3 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  • Olive oil 1 tbsp
  • Olive oil for garnish
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice of 1 lemon
  • Red chilli powder for garnish
Method:
  • Combine all the ingredients in the food processor and pulse for a few minutes or till it forms a smooth paste. Garnish with a little olive oil and red chilli powder. Serve with pita bread and vegetables.
