Beetroot Hummus
Beetroot Hummus
Ingredients:
- Chickpeas (boiled and cooled) 2 cups
- Beetroot (boiled, peeled and cubed) 1
- Garlic (crushed) 3 cloves
- Tahini paste 3 tbsp
- Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
- Olive oil 1 tbsp
- Olive oil for garnish
- Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
- Lemon juice of 1 lemon
- Red chilli powder for garnish
- Combine all the ingredients in the food processor and pulse for a few minutes or till it forms a smooth paste. Garnish with a little olive oil and red chilli powder. Serve with pita bread and vegetables.
