Chai Cake


Ingredients:
  • Earl grey tea decoction 125 ml
  • Flour 125 gm
  • Flour for dusting
  • Butter 100 gm
  • Butter for greasing
  • Caster sugar 15 gm
  • Condensed milk 200 gm
  • Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
Method:
  • Beat butter and caster sugar till light and fluffy. Add condensed milk and tea and whisk till well mixed. Sift together flour, baking soda and baking powder into the mixture and fold to form a smooth batter. Pour batter into a greased and lined tin, bake for twenty minutes or till done at 180 degrees C.
