Qeema Macaroni


Ingredients:
  • Mutton mince 1/2 kg
  • Boiled macaroni 2 cups
  • Onions (sliced) 2
  • Tomatoes (pureed) 3
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 2-1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander-cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Sambhar masala (optional) 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves (chopped) 2 tbsp
Method:
  • Heat oil, add cumin seeds and allow to splutter. Add the sliced onions and fry to golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and sautĂ© well. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander-cumin powder, sambhar masala, garam masala powder, salt and sautĂ© for a minute. Add the pureed tomatoes and cook. Add the mince and sautĂ© for 5 minutes. Let it cook till done. Fold in the boiled macaroni. Stir in the coriander leaves.
