Marbled Chocolate Banana Bread
Ingredients:
- 2 c flour
- Baking Soda 3/4 tsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Sugar 1 cup
- Butter 1/4 cup
- Mashed Ripe Bananas 1 1/2 cups
- Eggs 2
- Plain Yogurt 1/3 cup
- Chocolate Chopped 1/2 cup
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Beat butter and add sugar and beat till creamy. Add banana, eggs and yogurt; beat until blended. Add flour mixture; beat at low speed just until moist. Melt the chocolate and cool slightly. Add 1 cup batter to chocolate, stirring until well combined. Spoon chocolate batter alternately with plain batter into an greased and lined loaf pan. Swirl batters together using a knife. Bake at 180°C for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan on a wire rack; remove from pan. Cool completely on wire rack, slice and serve.
