Almond Toffees
Ingredients:
- Condensed milk 1 can (400 gm)
- Caster sugar 3/4 can
- Unsalted butter 125 gm
- Ground almonds 1/2 can
- Almond essence 1 tsp
Method:
- Use the empty condensed milk can to measure caster sugar and ground almonds. First prepare a cutting board & rolling pin, by applying some butter to them, set aside. In a pan put condensed milk, caster sugar & unsalted butter on medium heat, & stir till thick & it changes colour to light brown, then add the ground almonds & keep stirring till it starts to leave the sides of the pan & comes together like a ball, add almond essence & stir. Now you are ready to pour toffees onto the board & roll to desired thickness. Cut with a pizza cutter dipped in butter into diamond shapes.
