Pista Paak


Ingredients:
  • Pistachios (shelled) 350 gm
  • Khoya 350 gm
  • Sugar 350 gm
  • Rosewater 1/2 cup
  • Butter 4 oz
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Nutmeg powder 1/2 tsp
Method:
  • Boil the pistachios, dry them and then grind. Mix with the khoya. In a pan boil 1 cup water and add sugar till sugar is melted. Strain through a muslin cloth, again put syrup on fire. When it boils, add the rosewater. When the sugar syrup thickens and gets sticky, add the khoya and pistachio mixture. Keep stirring and add the butter, stir till it thickens, lastly add the cardamom powder and nutmeg powder. Cool and cut in squares and serve.
