Mayo-Free Cabbage Salad
Ingredients
- Oil 1/2 cup
- Vinegar 1/4 cup
- Soya sauce 1 tbsp
- Sugar 6 tbsp
- Cabbage shredded 8 oz
- Spring onions, thinly sliced 3
- Slivered almonds 1/3 cup
- Sunflower seed kernels (optional) 1/3 cup
Method
- Mix oil, vinegar, soya sauce, and sugar in a large bowl, mixing until sugar has dissolved. Toss cabbage, green onions, almonds, and sunflower seed kernels into the dressing. Cover bowl and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving. Slaw tastes better when chilled overnight.
