Masala Botti


Ingredients:
  • Beef 1/2 kg
  • Fried onion 2
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Black pepper (crushed) 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Roasted cumin 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Raw papaya 2 tbsp
  • Tamarind pulp 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Green chili paste 4 tbsp
  • Coal 1
  • Salt to taste
Method:
  • Marinate beef with 2 tbsp raw papaya and salt to taste overnight. In pan heat 2 tbsp oil, add 2 tsp ginger garlic paste, fry well, add 2 fried onion, 1 cup yogurt, 4 tbsp green chili paste, 1 tsp black pepper, 2 tsp cumin seeds and 2 tbsp tamarind pulp. Cook for few minutes. Now add marinated beef and cook on low flame for 30 minutes till meat tender. Now put a small bowl containing burning coal in the pan, drop some oil on it and cover. Take out beef in serving dish, sprinkle chaat masala and serve hot.
