Pyaz Bhajya


Ingredients
  • Onions, sliced 4 large
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to deep fry
  • Gram flour 1 cup
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
Method
  • Slice onions fresh to make the bhajias crisp. Add salt and then press with hand to extract excess water. Heat sufficient oil in a wok till very hot. Add gram flour, red chili powder to the onion slices and mix. Do not add any water. Drop lumps of onion mixture into the hot oil. If they stick together try to separate them. Drain when golden onto an absorbent paper. Serve hot
