Coconut Brownies


Ingredients
  • Butter, softened 1 cup
  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Eggs 4
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Flour 1 ½ cups
  • Cocoa powder ½ cup
  • Desiccated coconut ½ cup
Method
  • Beat butter and sugar and add the eggs, add vanilla essence, flour and cocoa powder and mix in coconut, spread in 13 x 9 inches greased pan and bake at 180 degrees C for 20 minutes or till a skewer inserted in centre comes out with moist crumbs, do not over bake the brownie or it will turn into a cake. Cool and serve cut in squares.
