Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream


Ingredients:
  • Milk 2 cups
  • Cream 2 cups
  • Caster sugar 1 cup
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Peppermint essence 1 tsp
  • Green food colour 3 drops
  • Chocolate chips 1 cup
Method:
  • Stir together the milk, cream, sugar, salt, vanilla essence and peppermint essence until the sugar has dissolved. Add the green food coloring. Freeze overnight in an air tight box and beat after, add the chocolate chips. After the ice cream has thickened, about 30 minutes, spoon into a container, and freeze for 2 hours.
