Chocolate Spread Bread


Ingredients:
  • Plain flour 250 gm
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar 2 tbsp
  • Yeast 1 tsp
  • Milk powder 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Warm water for binding
  • Chocolate spread 1/2 cup
  • Egg 1 (for egg wash)
Method:
  • Sift the flour and add salt, sugar, milk powder, yeast, and oil in a large mixing bowl. Add water to make stiff dough. Shape the dough into a ball and leave to set for an hour. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough in a rectangle shape; apply chocolate spread ½-inch border on the sides. Roll tightly and place on a baking sheet. Cut the dough down the middle with a knife, leaving one end intact. Twist ends overtop each other, making sure to turn cut side toward the top. Cover dough loosely in the cling and let it set for 20 minutes. Egg-wash it and bake on 180° for about 15 minutes.
