Stewed Apples


Ingredients:
  • Butter 1/4 cup
  • Apples (peeled, cored and sliced) 4 large
  • Corn flour 2 tsp
  • Cold water 1/2 cup
  • Brown sugar 1/2 cup
  • Ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp
Method:
  • Melt butter and add apples. Cook about 6 to 7 minutes, stirring constantly, until apples are almost tender. Dissolve corn flour in water; add to apples. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Wrap in a sweet crepe to serve or serve with vanilla custard.
