Indonesian Rice
Ingredients:
- Rice (boiled and cooled) 3 cups
- Boneless chicken (thin strips) 250 gm
- Eggs 3
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Chopped onion 1
- Chopped green chillies 2
- Chopped garlic 2 cloves
- Chopped spring onion 1
- Coriander seeds 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Prawns 250 grams
- Soya sauce 3 tsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Break eggs in a bowl, add salt and whisk well. Heat oil, add eggs and make omelettes. Slice into thin strips and set aside. Heat oil in a wok, add onions, green chillies, garlic, and spring onion. Sauté quickly.Add coriander seeds and cumin powder. Sauté for 2 minutes, add chicken strips and cook till done. Add prawns add sauté quickly.Add cooked rice, omelette strips, soya sauce and salt. Toss well and stir fry quickly. Serve hot.
