Indonesian Rice


Ingredients:
  • Rice (boiled and cooled) 3 cups
  • Boneless chicken (thin strips) 250 gm
  • Eggs 3
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Chopped green chillies 2
  • Chopped garlic 2 cloves
  • Chopped spring onion 1
  • Coriander seeds 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Prawns 250 grams
  • Soya sauce 3 tsp
  • Salt to taste
Method:
  • Break eggs in a bowl, add salt and whisk well. Heat oil, add eggs and make omelettes. Slice into thin strips and set aside. Heat oil in a wok, add onions, green chillies, garlic, and spring onion. Sauté quickly.Add coriander seeds and cumin powder. Sauté for 2 minutes, add chicken strips and cook till done. Add prawns add sauté quickly.Add cooked rice, omelette strips, soya sauce and salt. Toss well and stir fry quickly. Serve hot.
