Badami Murgh
Ingredients:
- Chicken 1 kg
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Chopped onions 6
- Ginger 1 piece
- Garlic 10 cloves
- Cloves 6
- Cinnamon 2 pieces
- Cardamoms few
- Cashew nuts 10
- Almonds 10
- Coconut milk 1 cup
- Oil ½ cup
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric ½ tsp
- Chilli powder 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves to garnish
- Make a paste of the ginger, garlic, cloves, cinnamon, cardamoms, cashews and almonds. Heat oil, add the chopped onions. Fry them till they turn golden. Then put the ground masala and fry very well. While frying this paste, add 3-4 tbsp of water you will notice that oil floats on top. Now add the yogurt and the chicken. Season it well with salt, turmeric and chilli powder. Cook for 10 minutes then add the coconut milk. Cook till done, garnish with coriander leaves.
