Eggless Pound Cake


Ingredients:
  • Flour 2-1/2 cups
  • Corn flour 4 tbsp
  • Sugar 3/4 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Softened butter 100 gm
  • Condensed milk 1/2 cup
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Milk 1/3 cup
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • Salt a pinch
  • Chopped vanilla bean (optional) 1/4
Method:
  • Beat butter and sugar until light. Add in vanilla essence. Add condensed milk, yogurt and mix well. Add the 1/4 vanilla bean now if using. Sift all the dry ingredients. Add the dry mixture to wet ingredients in stages. Add milk every now and then, start and end with dry mixture. Do not over beat the batter. The batter will be stiff comparatively. Now transfer the batter to a greased bundt pan and tap around the corners. Bake for 45-50 minutes at 160 degrees centigrade. Once completely baked, remove from oven and allow to rest for 10 minutes. Slice and serve warm with chocolate or caramel sauce.
