Pista Kulfi

Pista Kulfi
 

Ingredients:
  • Milk 4 cups
  • Bread (cubed) 1 slice
  • Corn flour 1 tsp
  • Caster sugar 1/4 cup
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Pistachios sliced 10-12
  • Pistachios (to garnish) few
Method:
  • Blend bread pieces, corn flour and a 1/2 cup of milk, making smooth paste and set aside. Boil remaining milk, stirring occasionally. Cook till half milk is evaporated. Add the bread mixture to the milk and cook reducing the heat to medium. Next add sugar and pistachios and cook for 2 more minutes. Turn off the heat and add cardamom powder. Cool the milk to room temperature and pour into kulfi moulds and let set overnight till frozen. Take out of moulds and serve topped with more chopped pistachios.
