Chocolate Halwa


Ingredients:
  • Khoya 250 gm
  • Milk 1-½ cups
  • Desiccated coconut 1 cup
  • Sugar ¾ cups
  • Cocoa powder 2 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder ½ tsp
  • Almonds (blanched and sliced) ½ cup
Method:
  • Mix khoya, milk, sugar and cocoa in a pan and cook till mixture starts to thicken and leaves the sides. This will take about 30 minutes. Remove from fire and add in the coconut and cardamom powder. Pour in a greased plate or tin. Top with sliced almonds and press in. Let set in fridge. Cut in squares or diamonds and serve chilled.
