Chocolate Chip Cookie Serving Bowl



Ingredients:
  • Butter (softened) 1/2 cup
  • Brown sugar 1/2 cup
  • Caster sugar 1/4 cup
  • Egg (large) 1
  • Egg yolk 1
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Baking powder 1/8 tsp
  • Flour 1-3/4 to 2 cups
  • Chocolate chips 1 cup
Method:
  • Beat butter, brown sugar, and caster sugar. Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla and beat until well combined. Combine salt and baking powder with 1-1/2 cups of flour. Add to wet ingredients and stir just to combine. If the dough is sticky, add the remaining 1/4 cup flour. Stir in chocolate chips. Line the outside of the bowl with non-stick tin foil, making sure the non-stick side is facing out.Roll the cookie dough out into a large circle. Drape it over the tin foil lined bowl, cut off any excess dough. Freeze for 30 minutes. Bake at 180 degrees C for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Allow cookie bowl to cool for about 20 minutes then lift it up off the bowl. Allow it to cool completely. Cover the bowl in plastic wrap and store at room temperature. Do NOT put it in an airtight container or it will get too soft and break. Fill with cookies before serving.
