Chicken and Potato Pockets 


Ingredients For dough:
  • Flour (Maida) 2 cups
  • Salt 1 pinch
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Water as required
For Filling:
  • Boiled & mashed potatoes 2 large
  • Boiled & shredded chicken 125 gm
  • Spring onion 3 medium
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Chili sauce 1 tbsp
  • Chicken powder ½ tsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Mix herbs ½ tsp
  • Oil for frying
Method:
  • Mix flour, salt, oil and water to make dough and leave it for few minutes to set. Take a bowl, mix all the filling ingredients together.Next take that dough and make small balls from that. Roll balls with the help of rolling pin to make small chapatis.Now put the filling on one piece of rolled dough and give the shape of pocket and press well on the top corners.
  • Next, deep-fry it and make sure shape should not be spoiled.Cut the green part of the spring onion into thin strips and tie that on the fried pockets in the bow shape. Delicious chicken and potato pockets are ready to serve. Serve with chili garlic sauce or ketchup.
