Bread Basket


Ingredient:
  • Flour 500 gm
  • Instant yeast 5 gm
  • Salt 5 gm
  • Sugar 5 gm
  • Water 250 gm
  • Egg 1 for brushing
Method:
  • In a bowl, mix flour, instant yeast, salt, sugar, and water well and knead hard dough. Set it aside for raising until it doubles. Warp aluminium foil around a stainless steel bowl and grease the bowl form inside well. Lightly flour the counter top, place dough on it and roll with the help of a rolling pin. Cut the flat dough into ½-inch strips. Now one by one, set the strip in the greased bowl in the shape of a basket. Egg-wash it with a beaten egg and bake it in the oven at 100 degrees centigrade until crispy and nicely golden in colour.
