Spicy Fried Fish
 

Ingredients:
  • Fish ½ kg
  • Lemon juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Gram flour 1 cup
  • Semolina 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder ½ tsp
  • Green chillies chopped or ground 3-4
  • Chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Egg 1
  • Water or less as required ¼ cup
  • Oil for frying
Method:
  • Marinate fish with salt and lemon juice for a while. Set aside. Mix the gram flour with semolina, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, cumin powder, ginger garlic paste, garam masala powder, green chillies chopped or ground, egg and coriander leaves chopped. Add little water gradually. Heat oil. Coat the fish with the paste and fry till golden and crispy.
