Two-tone Chocolate Tart 


Ingredients
  • Crushed digestive biscuits 2 cups
  • Cream cheese or hung curd 2 cups
  • Condensed milk 1 tin
  • Fresh cream 1 cup
  • Dark chocolate 150 gm
  • White chocolate 150 gm
  • Cinnamon 1 tsp
  • Butter 2 tbsp
Method
  • Melt butter and combine with crushed digestive biscuits. Line a flan dish or several individual ramekin dishes. Place in the fridge.Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof dish.In bowl, place the mascarpone, half the condensed milk and melted dark chocolate. Fold mixture until smooth and creamy.Pour over the biscuit base and return to the fridge. Melt the white chocolate and leave to cool slightly.Add half of the fresh cream to form a paste like texture. Remove tart from fridge and spread this over the previous layer.Finally mix the remaining cream and condensed milk with the cinnamon, to a pouring consistency.Drizzle the sauce over slices of rich chocolately tart.This tart takes approx 30 minutes to prepare at the most. You can serve it with a raspberry coulis or fresh fruit instead. Another option is to replace the cinnamon with almond essence or orange rind.
