Pasta in Tomato Cream Sauce


Ingredients
  • Pasta, boiled 2 cups
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp
  • Onion, diced 1
  • Garlic, minced 1 clove
  • Tomatoes, chopped 1 cup
  • Dried basil leaves 1 tbsp
  • Sugar 3/4 tsp
  • Dried oregano 1/4 tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Ground black pepper 1/8 tsp
  • Cream 1/2 cup
  • Butter 1 tbsp
Method
  • In a saucepan, sauté onion and garlic in olive oil over medium heat. Add tomatoes, basil, sugar, oregano, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil until most of the liquid evaporates. Remove from heat; stir in cream and butter. Reduce heat and simmer 5 more minutes. Pour over pasta and serve.
