Mayo-Free Cabbage Salad


Ingredients
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Vinegar 1/4 cup
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Sugar 6 tbsp
  • Cabbage shredded 8 oz
  • Spring onions, thinly sliced 3
  • Slivered almonds 1/3 cup
  • Sunflower seed kernels (optional) 1/3 cup
Method
  • Mix oil, vinegar, soya sauce, and sugar in a large bowl, mixing until sugar has dissolved. Toss cabbage, green onions, almonds, and sunflower seed kernels into the dressing. Cover bowl and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving. Slaw tastes better when chilled overnight.
